Duck's Body Shop originated in Suffolk, Va. by founder William "Duck" Vann. He made the community brighter with his personality and his paint jobs.
Like a lot of fathers he dreamed to one day pass the business down to his son Donald. But there was a slight problem.
Donald didn't know jack about fixing cars.
However, he is pretty handing when it came to creativity.
After William's passing, Donald still wanted to honour his dad's wishes despite his lack of auto knowledge. Thus, the Creative Dept. of Duck's Body Shop was born.
With a Master's Degree in Advertising from the VCU Brandcenter, and several years working as an Art Director, Donald Vann knows the ins and outs of the ad game pretty damn good. Along with experience in television production and writing, as well as web and app front-end development.
With the understanding that awards don't mean squat if your client doesn't shine. Donald works hard to give you his best and sometimes that gets noticed. His awards range from Cannes and One Show to Applied Arts and the Telly Awards with many more in-between. Not to mention a Southern Regional Kite Flying Championship as a Boy Scout. But I don't wanna brag.
Donald has worked on Holiday Inn, Suzuki, Canadian Tire, Bosch Kitchens, Tetley Tea, Harvey’s, Fuji Film, K&G Fashion Superstore, Heineken, Maple Leaf Foods, Corby’s, Ideazon, Children’s Aid Society, KFC, IBM, Kraft, Kodak, Jaguar, American Express, Motorola, Unilever, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Miller Lite just to name a few.
Beats, art and life has always been the code. In addition to advertising and design, scoring and creating tracks for television, film and social media is another field of passion. And music inspires arts.
